Fundraising Manager

We're seeking a strategic Fundraising Manager to join our client’s Fundraising team who will lead the cultivation of supporters, driving significant income growth. You’ll create impactful support cases and manage a team of three experienced fundraisers.

Job specification:

  • Lead the Philanthropy strategy, plans, budgets, and KPIs with a focus on long-term growth.
  • Expand a portfolio of supports, focusing on new five- and six-figure gifts.
  • Ensure excellent stewardship of key supporters.
  • Collaborate on impactful fundraising cases and reports.
  • Partner with the Events Manager to engage supporters through special events.
  • Manage and support a team of three direct reports.
  • Occasional UK travel, weekend, and evening work may be required.
  • Foster strong relationships with supporters, ensuring high-quality communication.
  • Ensure accurate data in CRM systems and compliance with data protection.
  • Recruit and retain high-performing staff and provide positive leadership for the Philanthropy team.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support team development.

Person specification:

  • Proven success in securing five- and six-figure funding from supporters.
  • Skilled in prospect research, supporter relationship management, and stewardship.
  • Strong line management experience, building high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in Major Gift and fundraising best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, networking, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office, and data management.
  • Goal-oriented leader with a collaborative, results-driven approach.
  • Quick learner, adaptable, and a creative problem-solver.
