My client, a major children’s charity, is seeking a Philanthropy Manager to join their Fundraising department based at their Surrey office. This is a key role responsible for proactively leading the cultivation and stewardship of major donors, Trusts, and statutory bodies. This role has a particular focus on driving income growth.This role has line management responsibility and is responsible for leading on the philanthropy strategy, annual plans, budgets and KPI’s, taking a long-term, multi-year view of relationship and funding development.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a similar role, with proven experience of securing five or six figure funding from major donors, Trusts, and statutory services to achieve challenging income targets. Previous line management experience is essential also. You will be an individual with a positive and optimistic outlook, a strong negotiator with a passion for the vision and ambition of the charity, as well as have a thorough understanding of best practice in Major gift and Trust Fundraising.

You must be a car owner and happy to work in the office 4 days per week.
