Job specification:
- Working within a small team of underwriters, working with brokers across the UK.
- Handling renewals, renewal adjustments, and midterm adjustments.
- Liaising with claims teams as part of the underwriting process.
Person specification:
- Must have a driving license.
- Minimum 2 years of general insurance experience.
- A background in risk management and general security is beneficial.
- Have a professional insurance qualification or be working towards it.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Experience with SSP systems is desirable.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Educated to GCSE Maths & English with grade C or above.
