Location: Office-based in Leatherhead (with additional site visits as required)Are you passionate about promoting health and safety in the workplace? We are seeking a proactive Health and Safety Advisor to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis within a dynamic charity environment. This is an excellent opportunity to drive health and safety standards across our organisation while working from our Leatherhead office and supporting other sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.• Oversee the maintenance, review, and communication of our safety management system.• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and workplace safety inspections.• Lead investigations into accidents, injuries, and near-misses.• Collaborate with the Head of HR and relevant stakeholders to implement safety improvements.• Organise regular Health and Safety group meetings and compile relevant reports.• Provide expert advice on health and safety matters across the organisation.

What We’re Looking For

• A qualified candidate with a NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent) and ideally working towards a NEBOSH National Diploma.• Strong communication and report-writing skills.• Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.• The ability to work independently, manage your own time, and influence others.• A commitment to equality, diversity, and promoting a safe work environment.• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to other sites when required.
