HR MANAGER 1 YEAR FTC - £29,000 pro-rata (24 hours per week)

We’re looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager for a 1-year contract (Maternity Leave) who will be at the heart of the organisation, guiding and developing a team of talented individuals. If you have a knack for empowering a team to reach their highest performance while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous growth, this may be your perfect role! You must have HR UK based experience.

Our client offers great working flexibility - This role is Hybrid 4 days a week, 6 hours a day!

Duties include:

  • Line management of the HR team
  • Employee relations - maintaining positive relationships with employees
  • Overseeing the recruitment and on-boarding process
  • Responsibility for the full employee lifecycle
  • Handling casework and grievances
  • Delivering training on people issues
  • Developing and updating people policies where appropriate
  • Supporting the delivery of diversity and inclusion strategy

The successful candidate:

  • HR Experience - Recruitment and Employee relations
  • Disciplinary and grievance experience and casework
  • Trained to CIPD Level 5 minimum
  • Happy to commit to a 1-year contract for maternity leave
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to act with discretion
  • Experience using HR systems
  • Must be able to commute/live locally to Leatherhead 2 days per week
