37.5 hours per week Hybrid-working

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing a range of human resource functions, including learning and development, recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration. This role will also support the company’s quality systems, ensuring compliance while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities Learning and Development Focus:

Spearhead learning and development initiatives across the organization to enhance employees' skills, knowledge, and growth opportunities, including training on quality standards

Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop tailored programs that align with both HR and quality management requirements.

Promote a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and quality improvement.

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

Collaborate with external agencies and assess candidate applications. Conduct interviews and assist team leaders in the selection process.

Ensure compliance with hiring procedures and maintain candidate records.

Employee Relations and Culture Enhancement:

Provide guidance on fostering a positive organizational culture. Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and activities.

Promote a respectful and inclusive workplace environment.

Training Coordination:

Oversee the organization's training programs, ensuring they align with business objectives and quality management standards.

Monitor and track personal development plans for employees.

Support the training and development lifecycle while keeping records up-to-date, including quality- related training initiatives.

HR Administration:

Act as the second point of contact for HR queries, with team leaders as the primary point of contact for HR issues.

Maintain HR information and generate reports for the Managing Director.

Manage employee records through the BreatheHR system. Support the annual salary review process.

Update the employee handbook and generate policy documents as needed.

Payroll and Compliance:

Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance with automatic enrollment requirements. Monitor candidates' eligibility to work in the organization.

Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:

Support and develop systems and processes required to maintain ISO 9001 and pharma-GMP compliance.

Act as a catalyst for improvements in performance and quality.

Ensure the quality system is proactively updated to re?ect agreed enhancements and improvements.

Education and Experience

Essential:

Proven experience in HR roles, demonstrating knowledge of recruitment, training, and employee relations.

Understanding of employment laws and regulations.

Pro?ciency in HR software and tools.

Passion for fostering a learning culture and improving employee well-being.

Desirable:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related ?eld (preferred). Experience with personal development systems is desirable.

Strong organizational and communication skills
