We have two exciting opportunities to join a specialist MGA, based in Leatherhead, with expertise in the Not for Profit, Faith, Education, and Recruitment sectors. You will become part of a thriving organisation that consistently delivers excellent underwriting results for its A-rated Insurer partners.

This role involves collaborating with brokers, assessing risks, providing new business quotations, and maintaining strong business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage renewals, new business quotations and mid-term adjustments in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
  • Set up and maintain accurate policy records.
  • Address broker and insurer partner queries within assigned authority limits.
  • Offer relevant insurance products while adhering to underwriting standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, brokers, and insurers on coverage and pricing matters.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory procedures.

Experience:

  • Commercial insurance underwriting experience, preferably in property, liability, commercial combined, or financial lines. Candidates with commercial broking experience and binder/delegated authority placement expertise are encouraged to apply.
  • Cert CII qualification or working towards it.
  • Experience working in a regulated FCA environment.
  • Knowledge of customer service best practices, compliance systems and processes, and financial management.
  • Proficiency in bespoke systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt, and be flexible.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening, negotiation) at all levels.
