Our client, a manufacturer in Leatherhead is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Planner/Scheduler to join their team and ensure seamless production processes.The Role:
  • Develop and maintain production schedules using an ERP system.
  • Manage production capacity to align with customer demands and deliveries.
  • Monitor schedules for any changes in materials, machinery, or production constraints.
  • Oversee work orders, track materials, and monitor the production progress.
  • Point of contact for customers for customer order scheduling & deliveries.
  • Liaise with internal departments to provide lead times.
  • Identify and resolve production conflicts.
  • Work with procurement to ensure material availability and resolve shortages.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and audits.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in aerospace, pharmaceutical, or medical device engineering is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience in scheduling and production planning.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, e.g. CNC machine planning.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Detail-oriented & good multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in IT packages and ERP systems.
