KM44 - Field Operations SupportLocation: Leatherhead (Hybrid)Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 DOEOverview: First Military Recruitment are currently supporting our client in the search for a Field Operations Support. The Field Operations Support is responsible for providing support and clerical services to their assigned Field Operations Manager in order to ensure effective and efficient management and co-ordination of all relevant administrative tasks within their scope of works as well as assisting the FOM with some specific commercial, contractual, HR, Transport and H&S requirements.Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for day-to-day managing and co-ordinating the relevant works orders from start to finish.
  • Submitting quotes and VO’s.
  • Arranging all site visits (incl. surveys, joint visits with subbies, and / or surveyors).
  • Communication with clients and residents.
  • Scheduling of in-house resources and subcontractors.
  • Arranging snagging appointments.
  • Monitoring daily PDA usage.
  • Materials procurement incl. TP trade cards, credit card use, POs for subbies and agency staff.
  • To produce Application for Payments / DFAs/ Invoices for all the relevant works based on operatives’ timesheets , SOR’s, materials and subbies POs, VOs and quoted works.
  • To assist FOMs collating weekly and monthly financial statistics such as: work in progress, works completed not invoiced, VOs awaiting approval, PDA downtime, operational KPI’s, overdue debt.
  • To assist Payroll, Purchase and Sales ledger is resolving relevant queries.
  • To assist FOMs in monitoring and managing unproductivity, sickness and attendance incl. communication with Payroll / HR and updating Oneserve.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 GCSE’s or Equivalent, Grades A – C (must include English & Math) (Essential)
  • NVQ in Business Administration (Desirable)
  • NVQ in Customer Service (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of office administration (Essential)
  • Significant experience in a customer service type role (Essential)
  • Preferably have experience of building construction and/or housing maintenance (Desirable)
