Job Description:

  • Responding to client requests and preparing tailored proposals.
  • Conducting research and managing availability and pricing for hotels, restaurants, and event venues.
  • Supporting marketing efforts and contributing to product development initiatives.
  • Ensuring timely and effective responses to client briefs.
  • Assisting in optimising conversion rates and profit margins.
  • Managing relationships with regular agency partners and clients.
  • Overseeing suppliers, contracts, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensuring the smooth execution of multiple projects.
  • Preparing and maintaining working documents.
  • Upholding and representing company policies and requirements.
  • Addressing queries and requirements from delegates, clients, and consumers.
  • Assisting with office administration, including managing client and supplier databases, handling supplier payments, and overseeing credit control.
  • Coordinating events on-site and managing suppliers and staff during events.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum of A Level education with at least 4 years of work experience, or a degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the travel or event industries is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of London’s hotels and event venues is a plus.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Versatile and comfortable working in a small company setting.
  • Flexibility to handle the demands of a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects at once.
