Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on students’ progress, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain high expectations to inspire, motivate, and challenge students.
  • Participate in preparing students for external examinations and ensure adherence to the school’s assessment principles.
  • Utilise technology effectively in teaching, with iPads and laptops provided to support learning.
  • Act as a Form Tutor, providing high-quality pastoral care in line with the school’s programs.
  • Engage in the school’s wider activities, contributing positively to its ethos and development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ECTs are welcome to apply.
  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Strong knowledge of the RE curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Ability to teach Philosophy and Ethics at A Level is desirable.
  • Competence in using IT to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
