Description

  • Oversee all aspects of the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects.
  • Prepare contracts and documents, including bills of quantities.
  • Estimating and Buying takeoffs
  • Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
  • Carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting final costs and sales.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims and support in disputes.
  • Analyse outcomes and produce detailed progress reports.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with construction professionals, including site managers, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.

Profile

A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A thorough understanding of construction methodologies and industry standards.
  • Excellent numeracy skills and proficiency in cost analysis.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
