We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team for a short-term contract from January 2025 to February 2025. This role involves teaching Maths to students in KS3 to KS4, providing them with a strong foundation in mathematics and preparing them for their GCSE exams.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative Maths lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
- Assess and record studentsā progress and provide grades and feedback to foster a positive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet studentsā varying needs and interests.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the school rules and disciplinary systems.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and current assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
