This role sits within our Private Sector FM business division that provides catering, cleaning, hard services, pest control, and security services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Venues market.
About The Role:Days of Working: variable adhoc cover.
Shift Pattern: combination of six and twelve hour shifts
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our team as a Security Officer.This is a fantastic opportunity to join our highly trained, professional security team within a large Venue. You will be responsible for the protection, security and safety of visitors and the building.
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Acting as a first line support to employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service
- Investigate and report all allegations of loss, theft, criminal damage and other incidents
- Managing crowd safety and queue management
- Be aware of and react to emergency situations as detailed in the Incident and Emergency Plans
- Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft and criminal activity
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Must have Right to Work in the UK
- SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential.
- Experience of working within the security industry/environment is an advantage.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Experience in a public facing, customer service role with the ability to deal with challenging situations
- The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
