About the Role:
Holden Knight Healthcare is proud to partner with a leading organization seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join their Learning Disability & Autism Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and autism, working within a supportive and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert social work support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, ensuring they receive the highest quality care.
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement tailored interventions.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to create positive outcomes for service users.
- Advocate for individuals, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights protected.
- Stay informed on current legislation, policies, and best practices related to social work and learning disabilities/autism.
About You:
- A qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Previous experience working with adults or children with learning disabilities and autism.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation (e.g., the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Children’s Act).
- Excellent communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
