Key Responsibilities: SEN Learning Support Assistant - Teaching Assistant
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN.
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering inclusive lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Foster a nurturing and positive classroom environment.
- Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback to teachers and parents.
- Support students in developing their social and emotional skills.
- Collaborate with the SEN team to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in our Leatherhead school.
Requirements: SEN Learning Support Assistant - Teaching Assistant
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs in Leatherhead.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support (desirable but not essential).
