The company, an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company for oil, gas, and refineries, is looking for a Procurement / Chain Supply manager.

About the role:We are seeking a skilled Purchasing/Supply Chain Manager to oversee the company's purchasing activities, ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining high quality standards. To coordinate and monitor the transfer of goods and materials from manufacturers and suppliers all the way through the end user. Oversee the whole process from beginning to end.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide, coach, support and direct a team with enthusiasm, positivity, and professionalism
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to enhance profitability
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure advantageous terms
  • Control,maintain improve establish envelope (Locke mailbox) biddingsystem.
  • Establish barcode system for warehousing
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Utilize ERP systems to track purchases and analyze data
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing
  • Work closely with logistics, engineering & project team to ensure timely delivery of goods

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role with EPC companies
  • Proficient in using ERP
  • Solid understanding of importing and exporting of goods throughout the world
  • Strong excel skills
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and secure favorable terms
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
