Our client is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in providing exceptional care to a 29-year-old individual with complex needs, in a shared supported living environment near Melrose in the Scottish Borders.About the Client

This client is a friendly and engaging individual with a Learning Disability, who is blind, partially deaf, and has epilepsy. He has limited mobility and requires the use of a hand aid to walk. He also requires PEG feeding. He has recently been in hospital for several months recovering from two strokes and is now ready to return to his supported living environment.About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in this client's transition and to support him in living a fulfilling life. You will be part of a dedicated team providing 2:1 support during the day (10am-4pm), 1:1 support in the evenings (4pm-10pm), or 1:1 waking night support (10pm-10am).Key responsibilities will include

Providing person-centered care and support to the clientAssisting with daily living tasks, including meal preparation (PEG feeding), personal care, and medication administrationCommunicating effectively with the care team and other professionals
