Are you a design engineer with 3D experience within a manufacturing / production environment? Are you looking for a new opportunity within a leading manufacturing organisation that can offer first class training and development into a production engineer to enhance your skillset and offer excellent progression routes?

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a mechanical design engineer to join the team, working out of their state of the art facility near Workington. The successful applicant will have an excellent training programme in place to use your design background and become a production engineer. Once upskilled you will provide technical solutions to the production and engineering teams to ensure that the production site is operating as efficiently as possible. You will be responsible for creating new production processes and designs as well as over seeing new machinery and equipment design, purchases and installation.

You will be joining a growing, loyal and experienced engineering and manufacturing team within a company who pride themselves on staff retention and development.
