Manufacturing Technician

Our client has an opening for a Manufacturing Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly production team.
  
A permanent position, working a day shift with an early finish on a Friday and 28 days holiday + bank holidays.
  
If you have experience within a manufacturing environment, either as a Manufacturing Technician, Electronics Technician, Mechanical Technician, Process Technician, PCB Assembly, Production Assembler, or Operative then this role could be for you.
  
You will receive ongoing training and career progression opportunities.

Main objectives:
Building electro mechanical sub-assemblies, printed circuit boards and final products, reading and interpreting bills of materials and drawings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Building electro mechanical sub-assemblies, printed circuit boards and final products, reading and interpreting bills of materials and drawings.
  • Raising non-compliance, rework records, stores requisitions and any build documentation changes when required.
  • Maintaining a high accuracy of stock control and stock levels as required
  • Maintain and improve housekeeping and working practices.
  • Responsibility for adhering to the Company’s Quality ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001
  • Working as part of a team to ensure departmental objectives are achieved and continuous improvement of product quality and processes, flowing products where possible to reduce waste (lean initiatives).

Ideal Skills/Experience;

  • Previous electro mechanical assembly experience
  • Understanding of mechanical assembly procedures and processes.
  • Appreciation of modern manufacturing techniques.
  • Good communication skills and a hands on approach.
