A alcoholic beverage client of ours in the Coggeshall area are recruiting a Sales Executive to join their small team. This is a full-time permanent position working 5 days a week; Tuesday - Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am - 14:00pm (35-hour week), paying 20,820 per annum + quarterly commission.

As a Salesperson, you will be responsible for promoting and selling alcoholic beverage products or services to potential customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, meeting sales targets, and contributing to the growth of our company.

Key Duties for this Sales Executive role will include but are not limited to:

  • Identify and reach out to potential customers.
  • Present and demonstrate products or services to prospective clients.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis.
  • Travel a minimum of 2 days a week to and from potential/existing accounts.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors' products.
  • Complete admin spreadsheets and documents for each new account and/or potential accounts, along with general office work, order processing etc.
  • Organise and host wine tastings on site and at customer venues.
  • Sell to the public in the shop and by phone.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Sales Executive position:

  • Proven experience in sales or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of wine or experience within the hospitality and catering industry.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Over the age of 18.
  • Hold a full UK driving license due to sites remote location.
