Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts to provide clear financial insights.
  • Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow analysis to support business decisions.
  • Handle balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support the preparation of year-end accounts, working alongside auditors as required.
  • Manage VAT returns and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
  • Partner with department heads to deliver financial analysis and drive cost efficiencies.
  • Review existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes quickly.

What We're Looking For:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified, with a strong management accounting background.
  • Proven experience working in interim or fast-paced environments.
  • Confident handling large volumes of data and delivering clear financial reports.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to prioritise effectively under tight deadlines.
