Accounts Assistant - Tiptree

Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about finance? We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our small but dynamic finance team.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our finance operations while contributing to the overall success of the business.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable processing using a semi-automated system (overheads, bill of materials, UK and foreign transactions).
  • Processing supplier payment runs.
  • Maintaining and updating the sales ledger.
  • Ensuring customer accounts are accurate and up to date.
  • Accruals and prepayment postings.
  • Posting transactions into Sage Accounting.
  • Investigating invoice discrepancies and resolving queries.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Maintaining the vehicle database.
  • Assisting with quarterly VAT returns.
  • Posting expense claims.
