Senior Administrator / PA

Are you an experienced and highly organised Senior Administrator / Personal Assistant, looking for a new challenge?

Our client based in Colchester is seeking a full time Personal Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. The hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm and will be paying a salary between £24k - £28k per annum (DOE). This is a fully office-based role, with parking on-site.

You will be supporting the Director and wider team with efficient administrative support.Duties will include:

  • Supporting with diary management

  • Scheduling and booking meetings, events, and conferences

  • Preparing agendas and taking minutes for meetings

  • Answering incoming calls, responding to emails, and managing all digital platforms

  • Preparing reports, drafting correspondence, and creating presentations

  • Updating and maintaining databases, filing systems, and data entry

  • Arranging travel and accommodation for members of the team when required

  • Collecting expenses for the Director and Operations Manager

  • Ordering stationary, maintaining office equipment, and franking letters and post

  • Coordinating staff rotas and leave requests on behalf of the Director

  • Supporting the Director with projects by conducting research and support with other ad hoc tasks when required

To be successful for this role, you must have at least 2 years' experience in an administrative or secretarial role. You must also be proficiency in Microsoft Office systems such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and office management tools, with excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
