Creative Artworker

Our client in the Professional services industry based in Colchester are currently seeking for an Creative Artworker to join them on an ongoing FTC. On offer is a salary up to £27,000 with an excellent package.

What does the role entail?

  • Creating high quality, high impact templated artwork to a graphical industry standard and ensuring that work adheres to the firm's brand guidelines.
  • Creating and sourcing bespoke design elements where required to meet the needs of a particular template.
  • Ensuring all work produced or quality assured meets agreed specifications and the stakeholder's brief.
  • Along with the rest of the team, understanding and managing stakeholder enquiries and expectations via the Graphic Centre mailbox in a professional manner, ensuring our SLA's are met. You will be expected to assess the capacity of the team and keep the Senior Artworkers up to date with any challenges you are facing. You will be solution focused, whether the proposed solution is within our wider BDM Operations team or elsewhere in the firm.
  • Building and actively developing good relationships with the marketing teams and managing their expectations.
  • Working as part of a team with our Colchester creative team members. Sharing knowledge and experience with others.
  • Attending regular team meetings to ensure a constant overview of workflow, any operational challenges/issues, and to help drive improvements and skill share.
  • Working with energy and enthusiasm, taking responsibility and ownership of individual performance. Being determined to achieve results and prepared to put in extra effort when required.
  • Assisting with the Client Presentation's service during the absence of the Client Presentation's Operator. This will require the Creative Artworker to produce/update Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to a high standard and within the brand.

What skills will you have?

  • Essential 3+ years of relevant experience: working in a similar role ideally in a professional services firm.
  • Multitasking: time and project management skills - we're looking for candidates with experience of working on multiple projects, working under pressure, often to tight deadlines and able to prioritise work. While working on multiple projects they must be organised, efficient and show persistence and resourcefulness in the face of obstacles.
  • Relationship management - building and maintaining relationships with internal key stakeholders and relevant outside agencies.
  • Creativity - candidates should be able to utilise their creativity to provide solutions to enquiries within the parameters of our templates and brand.
  • Attention to detail - we're looking for a highly diligent candidate who has an excellent focus on quality and attention to detail.
