Our client is seeking a qualifed Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, who will have a proven track record working within the industry, ideally for a UKAS accredited organisation. You will be joining a well-established outfit, with decades of experience operating within the industry. This would be a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and professional outfit. You will be covering sites across: Colchester, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Haverhill, Newmarket, Chelmsford, Billericay, Brentwood, Wickford, Basildon, Romford, Grays, Rayleigh, Hockley, Epping, Harlow, Maldon, Witham, Braintree, Halstead, Bishop's Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Thaxted, Saffron Walden, Buntingford, Stevenage, Cambridge, Biggleswade, Sandy, St Neots, Letchworth Garden City, Hitchin.
Experience / Qualifications:
- You must be qualified with the BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (or RSPH equivalents)
- Will have robust experience undertaking Asbestos Surveys and Analytical duties
- Well-versed in UKAS, HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
- Able to write thorough technical survey reports
- Comfortable using IT applications
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- Carrying out the full range of Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys
- Collecting ACM samples from sites and delivering to the lab for analysis
- Completing 4 Stage Clearances
- Personal, background, leak and re-occupation air monitoring
- Writing detailed survey and analytical reports
- Discussing project progress with clients and answering any technical issues
- Monitoring compliance across asbestos removals projects
