Production Line Operative - Outskirts of Colchester - 13.50ph - 4 on 4 off shift pattern - Own Transport Required
We are actively hiring for a Production Line Operative to join a successful company based in the outskirts of Colchester, who produce a food based product.
This role is assist with the running of a fast moving production line, with focus on Quality Control, minimal stoppages and hold ups.
Duties of the Production Line Operative will include;
- Working on various parts of the production line- from loading, to checking, to unloading
- Ensuring smooth running of production at all times
- Taking responsibility and ownership of hygiene and housekeeping at all times
- Ensuring you are compliant with legal and company food hygiene standards
- Assisting with completing audits
The ideal Production Line Operative;
- Previous experience in a FMCG or manufacturing and production environment
- Able to work weekends and weekdays to working hours
- Flexible approach to working duties
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work overtime
- Be local to Colchester
Own transport is required due to location
Hours and pay
- Working a 4 on 4 off day shift (7am-6pm)- applicants should be aware this does include weekends - working shorter hours
- 13.50 per hour
- Overtime available
