Job Title: Mortgage Administrator/ Trainee Mortgage Adviser
Salary: £16,546 - £23,712 Basic
Location: Colchester

We are working with a growing independent mortgage firm that is offering a unique Mortgage Administrator role, with full training provided and the potential to progress into a qualified Mortgage Adviser after 12 months.
This is the perfect role if you're looking to enter the financial services sector, gain industry-recognised qualifications, and develop into a Mortgage Adviser.
Salary & Benefits:
- Basic Salary £16,546 - £23,712
- On-going training
- Qualification covered and progression opportunities into a mortgage adviser
- 28 days holiday + Christmas off
Working Hours:
- Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:30 (No Weekends)
- Full-time or Part-time
- Flexible working location including days from home
Desired Experience:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A strong desire to develop a career in the mortgage industry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- No prior experience in mortgages necessary; however, a background in administration or financial services is a plus.
- Motivated and eager to learn with a long-term vision for progression.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide administrative support to mortgage advisers and clients.
- Manage client documentation, applications, and compliance processes.
- Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and clients to ensure smooth application progress.
- Handle client inquiries and assist with general administrative tasks.
