Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for an exciting new role within practice in Colchester?Reed Practice has been engaged by an established firm of accountants who have been in business for nearly three decades providing a wide range of services to companies of all sizes and sectors.This is an exciting opportunity as the firm is growing, drawing on their reputation for a high calibre of service and need to add an experienced Bookkeeper to their team.The successful candidate will be working on a portfolio of clients using Xero, Sage and Quickbooks you will provide a full Bookkeeping service to the highest standard.Duties:• Preparing/setting up of accounts and bookkeeping for sole traders, partnership and limited companies in a busy, high volume environment using Sage and Quickbooks• VAT calculations and returns• Dealing with client queries and development of professional working relationships• Posting of PAYE journals,• Monthly account reconciliations• Bank reconciliations• CIS journals and payments
We are looking for applicants who have experience in practice providing bookkeeping services to clients. You may be undertaking this currently, or perhaps moved to industry and now seeking to return to practice, missing the variety of working with different entities.Â
