Our client is a dynamic and growing accountancy practice, looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to manage a portfolio of around 100 clients using Xero. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate bookkeeping, VAT returns, and financial reporting for our clients across various industries.
Bookkeeper

Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Managing bookkeeping for multiple clients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns in compliance with Making Tax Digital (MTD)
- Reconciling bank transactions and maintaining financial records
- Supporting clients with Xero queries and best practices
- Liaising with HMRC and handling VAT-related queries
- Assisting with management accounts and financial reporting
Person Specification:
- Proven bookkeeping experience in an accountancy practice
- Strong VAT knowledge, including MTD compliance
- Xero proficiency (certification is a bonus!)
- Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
