Production Operative - Colchester - 11.94 per hour - temporary to permanent
We are seeking applicants with experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment to join our longstanding client who pride themselves on technical excellence. We are recruiting on a temporary to permanent basis and full training will be provided on the job.
Duties:
- Work on narrow and wide belts
- Picking and packing finished products and providing support to the store department as required.
- Working on machines - full training will be provided.
- Slitting, processing, joining, pressing and packing.
- Cutting to specified lengths, you must be able to read a tape measure and cut accurately to avoid unnecessary waste.
Additional information:
- Free parking - onsite
- Pay: 11.94 per hour worked but once temporary assignment is complete, this will increase to 12.47 per hour worked
- 33 days annual leave pro rata
- Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 4:45pm / Friday: 8:30am - 2:30pm
