An engineering company in Colchester are looking for a machine operator to join their busy manufacturing site!
They are offering a starting salary of 12.53ph + shift allowance. Working hours would be 06:00-14:00 Monday to Friday and a 13:30 finish on Fridays! If you have worked with machinery before within any industry and are available immediately then please get in touch! If you have any CNC experience this is highly desirable.
This is an ongoing temporary role, with potential for a permanent position depending on workload. If you are available immediately please get in touch.
Machine Operator Duties:
- Feeding sheet metal through the production line to shape it
- Operating various fabrication machinery
- Sticking to health and safety policies
- Moving and lifting of metal
- Ensuring products meet company standards
Full machine training will be provided, but the successful candidate will have some level of manufacturing or metal working experience, to ensure the machinery will be used correctly.
The role is quite physically demanding as you will be loading & unloading materials, although there is lifting equipment provided. You will need to have your own transport or live locally due to the hours of the role.
