Job Description:

Are you a skilled Chef looking for flexibility and exciting opportunities? Look no further! HCC-TEMPS is a leading temp agency offering competitive weekly pay. We connect talented Chefs with healthcare and hospitality clients across the UK for immediate cover, holiday cover, and sickness cover.

As a Chef with HCC-TEMPS, you'll create delicious, nutritious meals, plan food menus, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality dishes. You'll collaborate with kitchen staff and other chefs to deliver exceptional food.

Responsibilities as a Chef:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals from a set menu, considering dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform practical duties related to meal preparation using powered equipment and manual handling techniques.
  • Instruct and supervise co-workers in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation.
  • Monitor and maintain hygiene practices, ensuring compliance with HACCP and Infection Prevention & Control standards.
  • Inspect and manage stock to meet established standards and policy.
  • Maintain a professional and hygienic appearance.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Food Safety Certificates
  • Valid HACCP Certificate
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Awareness of manual handling techniques and COSHH regulations

  • Submittraining certificates, DBS certificate, passport, right to work, proof of NI, proof of address, and two references
