The key purpose of this role is to lead their global E-Commerce strategy. This is an exciting role to help shape the future of this company by getting involved at an early stage. The ideal candidate will be a team player as well as being self-motivated to strive for improvement across the business. You will be highly organised and capable of managing a dynamic workload, whilst relishing working with internal and external stakeholders.
Key duties include:
To oversee the roll out of our Shopify platform on a global basis. This will involve the launch of around 12 new markets in 2025
In addition, we are looking to expand our presence on Amazon and some other online marketplaces
Build on our E-Commerce strategic plan, focusing on setting realistic revenue targets and objectives
Working with existing distributors to clearly understand their E-Commerce requirements
Manage and own the digital marketing strategy including SEO, PPC and Social Media - including managing external digital agencies.
Analyse usage, traffic and sales data and make strategic recommendations
To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and experience:
Direct and meaningful experience of E-Commerce platforms, ideally Shopify and Amazon
Practical experience of the configuration and build of E-Commerce platforms - ideally we are looking for someone who can undertake at least the basic configuration processes
A good understanding of the challenges of the global expansion of our E-Commerce strategy, including meeting localised legal requirements, currency issues, language and localised fulfilment
Ability to build a global digital marketing strategy designed to drive sales
A good understanding of digital marketing techniques including SEO, PPC and Social Media integrations
Ideally have experience of working with other online sales channels and marketplaces such as Amazon, Rakuten and Flipkart
Experience in a similar role, ideally in manufacturing or B2C product marketing
Excellent analytical and financial skills
A keen creative eye and attention to detail
A team player
Ability to work to demanding deadlines
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
This role is office based Monday to Thursday - with the ability to work from home on a Friday.
Full time working hours - Monday to Friday and due to company location - you need to have access to your own transport.
