Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Installation & Service Engineer to join our team. This role involves installing, servicing, and fault-finding in two key areas:

  • Irrigation systems - including pop-up sprinkler systems and associated pumping equipment in private residences.

  • Bulk materials handling - installation and maintenance of grain handling, cleaning, and drying equipment on farms.

This is a customer-facing role, so strong communication skills and a professional approach are essential. The successful applicant must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.



Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and maintain irrigation and bulk materials handling systems

  • Diagnose and repair faults to ensure system efficiency

  • Work with welding, electrics, and general site tasks

  • Travel to job sites, sometimes up to a couple of hours from base

  • Maintain high-quality workmanship and ensure customer satisfaction



Requirements

  • Experience in welding, electrics, irrigation, or bulk materials handling (preferred but not essential)

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)

  • Ability to read and interpret technical instructions

  • Comfortable with physical work, including digging and working in wet conditions

  • Strong communication skills and a polite, presentable manner

  • Punctual, reliable, and able to commit to full-time work

  • Basic knowledge of pipework and electrical fault-finding (training provided)

  • Own basic tools (advantageous but not essential)
