Our client is seeking a Site Engineer with section 278 and heavy civils experience for a major highways project in Colchester.
The role involves setting out and surveying for various construction elements, reviewing RAMS and ITPs, and preparing QA documentation.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in earthworks, along with a CSCS certification and an HNC/HND in Civil Engineering.

Role: Site Engineer

Our client is currently looking for a Site Engineerwith section 278 and heavy civils experience to get started immediately in the Colchester area on a major new highways project.

Site Engineer Role:

Setting out and surveying for earthworks, access roads, kerbing, drainage
Reviewing RAMS, ITPs, producing as builts daily
Setting out and surveying using total station/ surveying GPS
Monitoring and reviewing the DTM
Preparing and maintaining QA documentation
Liaising with the Site Agent and reporting daily
Liaising with the external design team
Managing earthworks subcontractors; checking and maintaining QA and HSE standards

Site Engineer Requirements:

At least 3 years experience within civil engineering, preferably within earthworks
CSCS
