The Role:As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for:? Conducting fire risk assessments across a variety of residential and commercial properties.? Identifying hazards, assessing risks, and recommending fire safety improvements.? Ensuring compliance with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and other relevant legislation.? Preparing detailed reports, outlining risk levels and required actions.? Advising property managers and landlords on fire safety measures and best practices.? Keeping up to date with fire safety regulations and industry standards.
What We're Looking For:?? Proven experience as a Fire Risk Assessor, ideally within property management, housing associations, or block management.?? Recognized fire risk assessment qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Fire Safety, Fire Risk Assessment Level 3/4, or equivalent).?? Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, building regulations, and landlord obligations.?? Excellent report-writing skills with the ability to deliver clear and actionable recommendations.?? Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with property managers, tenants, and stakeholders.?? Full UK driving license (if site visits are required).
Desirable:? Membership in a professional body (e.g., IFE, IFSM, IFPO).? Experience working in block management, social housing, or large property portfolios.
