Technical Sales Support Executive

Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with a manufacturing company that specialise in HVAC technology, to recruit for a Technical Sales Coordinator in their Colchester office.

This is an office-based, permanent position of which has become a requirement to support our client's continued growth and 2025 aspirations to support both current clientele with enquiries but also new customers across an array of industries - providing appropriate solutions across their specialised and market-leading product range.

Customer-centricity is key and this role will involve high levels of customer interaction specifying products against customer requirements and being the focal point from sales initiation through to completion.

Salary: Up to 40,000 p/a + Annual performance bonus

Working Hours: 8-5pm Mon to Thurs and 8am - 1pm Friday

Role Responsibilities will include:

  • Learn our client's specific product range
  • Be the focal point for all technical and general enquiries from customers
  • Cover sales from initiation through to completion. Producing quotes for new units, spares and servicing
  • Working collaboratively with the sales team, ensuring all customers are satisfied and cared for professionally
  • Utilising CRM correctly and ensuring it is updated

Skills and Experience required:

  • Technical understanding is essential with a manufacturing background and strong understanding of engineering/manufacturing processes as well as technical concepts
  • Qualified to degree-level or equivalent would be advantageous
  • Strong sales and relationship building capability
  • Resilient and able to motivate both yourself and others.
  • High standard of written and spoken English
  • IT literate and competent in operation of Microsoft Office package (emphasis on Word and Excel)
  • Driving license required for client travel
