Role Overview:
As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming laser cutters, turret punches, and waterjet machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in sheet metal fabrication. This role requires expertise in SolidWorks (sheet metal module) or Radan software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program CNC equipment, including laser cutters, turret punches, and waterjets.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise manufacturing.
- Optimise cutting paths to improve material usage and reduce waste.
- Diagnose and refine programs to address production challenges.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in CNC programming within sheet metal fabrication.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks 3D (sheet metal module) or Radan software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in CNC programming and issue resolution.
- Prior experience with laser cutters, turret punches, or waterjets is highly advantageous.
