Our client, a reputable company based in Essex, is seeking a skilled Client Account Administrator to join their established team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience, particularly within the manufacturing sector, and a keen interest in working with international trade and exports.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in an office-based customer service / account manager role, with a proven ability to manage customer relationships, handle queries, and provide exceptional service. A background in export or international trade is highly desirable, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to customer queries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
- Managing a portfolio of orders, acting as the primary point of contact for customers
- Coordinating transport logistics to ensure deliveries meet customer expectations
- Collaborating with internal teams to guarantee compliance and timely delivery of products
- Supporting the Sales Manager with various tasks as needed
- Performing general administrative duties as required
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a customer service role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage customer concerns calmly and effectively
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Competent with MS Office and other relevant IT systems
- Proven ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
