This role is working for a successful BRC AA Graded food manufacturer. The company produces high-quality food products and exceptional service - enabling their food manufacturing customers to innovate and increase productivity without compromising on quality.

About the Customer Services Advisor job

As Customer Services Advisor, you will be part of a small and friendly customer services team. You will assist with customer orders, queries and complaints by both phone and email and communicate with the Sales Managers to deliver a great customer service experience. This is a hybrid role offering one day from home post probation period.

Key tasks

  • Process new orders and amendments, providing customers with stock availability, lead times, and delivery dates.
  • Maintain and update customer databases, including contact details and specific delivery requirements.
  • Assist Sales Managers with updating trade agreement prices and ensuring accurate records.
  • Coordinate with transport companies, the Transport Manager, and warehouse team to schedule collections, deliveries, and order dispatches.

About You

  • Good administration and customer services experience, most ideally within a food manufacturing or similar FMCG business This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent organisation skills.
  • Confident communication skills (both verbal and written) to establish productive relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • IT literate including Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook etc.

The Customer Services Advisor job (ref:8794) is based in Colchester and is paying c. £25,000 according to your experience. This is a hybrid role offering one day from home post probation period.

The site is in Colchester, Essex and is commutable from Chelmsford, Ipswich, Halstead, Clacton-On-Sea.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm with 1 hour for lunch.
