Kingsley Consulting Ltd are recruiting a CAD Designer to work for a leading Roofing Product and Systems Manufacturing Business.   The CAD Designer role will be based at our clients busy Technical Office and will provide the successful and ambitious candidate a fantastic opportunity to further their Design career with a very progressive manufacturer. Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 dependant on experienceLocation: Essex area nr ColchesterHours: 40hrs Mon-Friday   Role Overview:  As a CAD Designer, you will support the technical team with detailed CAD drawings and technical calculations, providing technical advise and expertise to internal and external stakeholders and interfacing with customers across bespoke, complex design projects.   You will provide technical support and advice to clients, approved contractors and associated businesses, by undertaking and sourcing technical calculations for the wide variety of roofing, waterproofing and building products and associated elements, including wind uplift, Insulation “U values”, and drainage and condensation risk.   Working alongside the Sales Team, you will also help to ensure that inquiries are converted into sales through the Specification pipeline including full project proposals, specification sign offs and issuing of warranties.   PersonTo be successful in this role you will be an experienced CAD Designer using AutoCAD software (ideally 2+ years’ experience) having performed a similar role within the Roofing, Waterproofing or associated Construction Product Industry. Knowledge of the technical calculations associated with roofing applications (wind uplift, drainage and U value calculations) would be preferred, though not essential.   To apply for this position, please send your CV by clicking apply for this role and one of our specialist consultants will be in touch to discuss your suitability and provide more information about the role.     Diversity & InclusionKingsley Consulting operate an inclusive and diverse recruitment process, whilst also ensuring our clients do the same and we can provide any advice or education to them in relation to this.
