Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in the lives of children and young people? We are seeking a Nurture Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding team, supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 - KS5 in a specialist Autism school. About the Role

As a Nurture Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with Autism, ADHD, PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties), and other neurodiverse conditions in a nurturing environment.
  • Assist in delivering a tailored curriculum focused on both academic and emotional development.
  • Foster a safe, consistent, and structured setting where students feel valued and supported.
  • Encourage literacy development by supporting students with writing, storytelling, and communication.
  • Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement individual learning plans.
  • Support sensory exploration and creative learning activities.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with students to boost confidence and emotional resilience.
  • Assist with structured transitions between key stages, helping students adjust and progress smoothly.
