Kingswood Group is excited to partner with a growing business in Colchester to recruit a Senior People Advisor on a permanent basis. This vital role offers a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in shaping the company?s HR strategy and driving positive change within the organisation.

The Senior People Advisor will be responsible for delivering expert advice and guidance on all aspects of Employee Relations, helping to resolve complex issues and ensure compliance with employment legislation. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership and line managers, providing support and direction on a wide range of HR-related matters, from performance management and employee development to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Act as a key point of contact for the business, providing expert advise and guidance
  • Handling ER cases including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, and other sensitive employee-related matters 
  • Provide coaching and guidance on HR Policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Proactively identify and address employee relations issues, supporting investigations, and implementing appropriate solutions to maintain positive employee relations
  • Preparing reports as required 
  • Oversee and analyse HR data (exit interviews, absence, turnover, benefits, surveys etc) to identify any trends and provide robust solutions to deal with any issues
  • Coach and advise Managers in the implementation of robust recruitment and selection, performance management and employee relations processes and facilitate timely delivery and evaluation of appropriate activities/solutions which ensure that the business needs are met
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and development.
  • Stay up to date with employment law and Immigration regulations, ensuring compliance and recommending necessary changes to policies and procedures.

Experience required:

  • CIPD ? Level 5 (Desirable)
  • Experience working at a similar level 
  • Demonstrable experience in complex ER matters
  • The ability to work well in a fast paced environment

This role offers the exciting opportunity to travel the country visiting and supporting various sites typically once or twice per month.
