NXTGEN is on the hunt for an exceptional Finance Manager to join a fast-growing, innovative company. This is a unique role for a Finance Manager where no two days will be the same, and you'll play a crucial part in shaping the financial future of the business. As Finance Manager, you'll report directly to an outstanding CFO who is committed to providing guidance and mentorship as you grow within the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full preparation of management and year-end accounts, including supporting schedules and reconciliation's
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to raise quotes, invoices, and track work completion
  • Oversee cash management, forecasting, and payment runs
  • Manage supplier processes including invoice authorisations and payments
  • Ensure VAT returns are submitted and reconciled accurately
  • Assist in the year-end budget process, including P&L, balance sheets, and cashflows
  • Handle short-term (13-week) cash flow forecasting and funding management
  • Lead the budgeting process, coordinating timelines, preparing P&L, balance sheets, and cashflows
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and corporate tax advisors
  • Manage project codes, cost analysis, and supplier payments
  • Ensure full balance sheet reconciliation's to audit standard each month

What We're Looking For:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or part qualified, with an audit practice background (highly advantageous)
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, charts, IF functions, and lookups
  • Familiarity with Sage and Zahara is a plus
  • Highly organised with impeccable attention to detail
  • Flexible and capable of juggling multiple priorities
  • Strong communicator, able to build solid relationships with both finance and non-finance teams
  • A collaborative, supportive approach to leadership and team development
