Finance and Payroll Manager

- Salary: £16.00 - £19.00 per hour
- Hours: 28 hours per week, 4 days per week
We are seeking a dedicated Finance/Payroll Manager to oversee our financial operations and payroll systems. This role is integral to maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts in conjunction with business directors.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepare financial reports and statements.
- Financial Operations:
- Manage cash flow and working capital.
- Oversee accounting processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Handle payroll and HMRC payments.
- Strategic Financial Management:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve organizational goals.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Other Duties:
- Liaise with accountants, bankers, and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in conjunction with accounting partners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A focused individual with drive, ambition, and a “can do” attitude.
- Open/learning mindset and detail oriented.
- Proficient IT skills are essential.
- Trusted to hold and administer confidential information.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in finance and payroll.
