NXTGEN are working with a growing, business in the Services Industry, who are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager to support the Financial Controller and wider leadership team. This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified Finance Manager looking to step into a role with plenty of variety, exposure, and long-term progression.

The Finance Manager will play a key role in the month-end close, regulatory submissions, and cashflow management, while also supporting key reporting cycles and deputising for the Financial Controller when required.

What you'll be doing:
  • Contribute to the ongoing delivery of the IFPR reporting framework, including quarterly returns

  • Approve purchase invoices and employee expenses, review ledgers and support payroll sign-off

  • Monitor company cashflow and track key expenditure to ensure effective forecasting

  • Compile and submit regulatory returns in line with reporting deadlines

  • Help manage the external audit process, liaising with auditors as needed

  • Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations and review the P&L

  • Support the production of year-end financial statements in compliance with IFRS

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant financial standards and regulations

  • Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts - including profit & loss, balance sheet and cashflow reporting - with clear variance analysis and insight

What we're looking for:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

  • At least 5 years' experience within a finance function

  • Strong grounding in both financial and management reporting

  • Experience within a regulated financial services environment is highly desirable

  • Confident user of ERP and general ledger systems - NetSuite would be ideal

  • Excellent Excel skills and comfortable presenting data in PowerPoint

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and confident in a fast-paced environment
