NXTGEN is seeking a Finance Manager for a growing business in the Services Industry to assist the Financial Controller and leadership team.
The ideal candidate should be a fully qualified accountant with at least 5 years of experience in a finance function, preferably within a regulated financial services environment.
Key responsibilities include month-end close, regulatory submissions, cashflow management, and supporting the production of year-end financial statements.
Candidates should have strong skills in financial and management reporting, as well as proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.

NXTGEN are working with a growing, business in the Services Industry, who are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager to support the Financial Controller and wider leadership team. This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified Finance Manager looking to step into a role with plenty of variety, exposure, and long-term progression.

The Finance Manager will play a key role in the month-end close, regulatory submissions, and cashflow management, while also supporting key reporting cycles and deputising for the Financial Controller when required.

What you'll be doing:

Contribute to the ongoing delivery of the IFPR reporting framework, including quarterly returns
Approve purchase invoices and employee expenses, review ledgers and support payroll sign-off
Monitor company cashflow and track key expenditure to ensure effective forecasting
Compile and submit regulatory returns in line with reporting deadlines
Help manage the external audit process, liaising with auditors as needed
Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations and review the P&L
Support the production of year-end financial statements in compliance with IFRS
Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant financial standards and regulations
Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts - including profit & loss, balance sheet and cashflow reporting - with clear variance analysis and insight

What we're looking for:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
At least 5 years' experience within a finance function
Strong grounding in both financial and management reporting
Experience within a regulated financial services environment is highly desirable
Confident user of ERP and general ledger systems - NetSuite would be ideal
Excellent Excel skills and comfortable presenting data in PowerPoint
Detail-oriented, analytical, and confident in a fast-paced environment
