We are seeking a Finance Manager for a small FMCG and manufacturing company near Colchester, Essex, offering a salary of up to £50K plus benefits.
The role involves supervising two junior staff members and reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Candidates should ideally be qualified accountants (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualified experience or close to qualification.
Key responsibilities include financial reporting, managing monthly management accounts, payroll, year-end accounts preparation, and leading the audit process.
This is an exciting opportunity as the company is experiencing significant growth after securing large supplier contracts.

Finance Managerup to £50K + Bens, ColchesterWe are hiring for a reputable small FMCG and manufacturing company based near Colchester, Essex for a new Finance Manager. This integral role is part of the small team reporting into the MD whilst supervising a team of two junior staff in the office. The role is office based.

This is a particularly exciting time to be joining the company as they have won some large supplier contracts so the company growth will be almost doubled.

Responsibilities include:

Ownership of the financial reporting
Manage a team of two staff
Manage the preparation of monthly management accounts
Payroll
Manage the preparation of the year end accounts
Lead the audit process;

Project work particularly focusing on process improvement and efficiency.

Requirements include:

Ideally a Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent with 2+ years of post qualified experience; or close to qualification.
Strong financial reporting skills
Excellent interpersonal skills.
