Our client is a digital media business providing a wide range of solutions to B2B clients. They are an established SME with ambitious growth plans.

They seek a Finance Manager to be part of this growth, working alongside the CFO you will take responsibility for financial operations and reporting. The role will involve producing information that is used for strategic decision making. It is a busy and broad role including the following responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
  • Develop and manage budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial projections to support business growth and strategic planning.
  • Analyse and monitor operational costs, identifying areas for potential savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Provide financial advice to the leadership team, supporting decision-making for project proposals and costs.
  • Manage internal controls and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and efficiency across all areas of systems and processes.

Successful candidates will be ideally qualified (ACCA / CIMA /ACA) with relevant, practical finance experience gained in a SME environment. You will have a strong understanding of finance systems with the ability to analyse complex data and present it in a clear, actionable format. The role requires up to date technical finance knowledge and the ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
