We are seeking a dedicated Finance/Payroll Manager to oversee our financial operations and payroll systems. This role is integral to maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts in conjunction with business directors.
    • Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Prepare financial reports and statements.
  • Financial Operations:
    • Manage cash flow and working capital.
    • Oversee accounting processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
    • Handle payroll and HMRC payments.
  • Strategic Financial Management:
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve organizational goals.
    • Identify cost-reduction opportunities.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Other Duties:
    • Liaise with accountants, bankers, and other external stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in conjunction with accounting partners.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A focused individual with drive, ambition, and a “can do” attitude.
  • Open/learning mindset and detail oriented.
  • Proficient IT skills are essential.
  • Trusted to hold and administer confidential information.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in finance and payroll.
